As NFT Paris 2025 continues, Tezos is at the forefront of bridging digital art heritage with the evolving landscape of blockchain technology. The Tezos ecosystem is set to highlight four decades of digital art evolution, from the groundbreaking 1980s Quantel Paintbox to contemporary NFTs. With a lineup of exhibitions, discussions, and live demonstrations, the event underscores Tezos’ growing influence in the art and technology sectors.
One of the most anticipated moments is the “Paintboxed – Tezos World Tour,” an exhibition that brings the iconic Quantel Paintbox to Paris following its successful debut at Art Basel Miami. The Paintbox, a $250,000 machine that played a pivotal role in shaping 1980s visual culture—including MTV’s iconic logo and the first CGI music video, Dire Straits’ Money for Nothing—will be on display at Booth A4 from February 13–14. This exhibition offers attendees a rare opportunity to engage with a piece of digital art history.
Adding to the excitement, legendary digital artist Kiki Picasso will perform a live painting session on February 14 at Grande Halle de la Villette. Picasso, an early Paintbox adopter and a founding member of Bazooka, was featured in the 1985 documentary 6 Peintres sur Ordinateur. His live performance marks a historic reunion of French digital art pioneers nearly 50 years after their initial breakthroughs.
Art on Tezos: A Celebration of Creativity at Artverse Gallery
Beyond the historic showcase, Tezos is also hosting “Art on Tezos: Down the Rabbit Hole” at the Artverse Gallery on February 13. The event, running from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, brings together artists, curators, collectors, and blockchain innovators. Panel discussions will feature key figures such as NFC Summit Lisbon founder John Karp, artist and DJ Agoria, curator Anika Meier, and gallerist Albertine Meunier. These conversations will delve into the intersections of digital art, blockchain, and cultural evolution.
Throughout the evening, visitors can explore multiple exhibitions across three floors of Artverse. The ground floor will host “Eclipse,” a group exhibition curated by Scene, in partnership with objkt.com, focusing on the interplay of light and shadow in digital art. In the basement, Cyberforms presents “Deck of Hearts,” a collection of works by 14 artists centered around a Valentine’s Day theme. Meanwhile, the top floor will feature the World of Women (WoW) Manifesto, where celebrated artist Amber Vittoria unveils three new artworks—The Future Isn’t Something We Wait For, Shaping An Era, and Creation Is Our Magic—each accompanied by original poetry. This initiative aligns with WoW’s mission to close social and financial gaps for women in art, technology, and culture.
The celebrations continue on February 14, when WoW partners with PizzaDAO for a unique Valentine’s event that combines art with food. Attendees will have the opportunity to mint free NFTs while crafting heart-shaped pizzas, with a prize draw offering signed prints, original artwork, and a World of Women Galaxy NFT.
Blockchain Innovation and the Future of Tokenized Assets
Beyond the artistic showcases, Tezos is also making waves in blockchain innovation. On February 13, co-founder Arthur Breitman will take the stage at the NFT Paris RWA Stage for a panel discussion on “Tokenization & Asset Management: Unlocking the Power of Real-World Assets.” This session will explore the growing role of blockchain in tokenizing traditional assets, with a special focus on XU3O8 tokenization.
From the fusion of digital art history with cutting-edge Web3 technology to pioneering conversations on blockchain’s real-world applications, Tezos is cementing its role as a leader in digital culture. Whether through its exhibitions, discussions, or interactive experiences, NFT Paris 2025 is shaping up to be a defining moment for the Tezos ecosystem and the broader Web3 art movement.
